The events on the Community Calendar are posted free of charge to inform the public within the broadcast range of WLIO NBC Lima of community events being sponsored by local non-profit organizations to include (but not limited to) religious groups, fire or police departments, social or activity groups, and government agencies. Generally speaking we do not post regular religous services even with guest speakers.

Please submit all information at least one week prior to the event or any ordering/registration deadline for an event. Two to three weeks prior would be best. The morning worship service will be held prior to the race start, with live music, prizes for participants, food, along with other activities throughout the day. The purpose for this event is to raise funds (beyond expenses) to assist local charities with their mission to come to the aid of those in our community. Charities will include the Ronald McDonald House, Project Hope Bluffton, and our local Bluffton food pantry. This is our chance to give back to our community by giving life-changing assistance to those with hardships (i.e. medical expenses, rebuilding after a fire or loss, and helping to keep our food pantry fully stocked).
