The events on the Community Calendar are posted free of charge to inform the public within the broadcast range of WLIO NBC Lima of community events being sponsored by local non-profit organizations to include (but not limited to) religious groups, fire or police departments, social or activity groups, and government agencies. Generally speaking we do not post regular religous services even with guest speakers.

Please submit all information at least one week prior to the event or any ordering/registration deadline for an event. Two to three weeks prior would be best. KUTLESS CONCERT WHO’S COMING TO SANDUSKY ? On July 2nd,KUTLESS is coming to Sandusky, Ohio One of the top 40 bands in christian music in the United States. A group called the Gathering made up of over 14 churches are bringing them for a time of fellowship and worship in the downtown area. In the spirit of supporting our community we are asking for 2 cans of food for admission to the Concert. Now if you forget, don’t worry, you still will be admitted. We are anticipating a crowd of over 5000. This great event will start at 11:45 AM and conclude with the Concert starting at 4 pm to 6 pm by KUTLESS with music and vendors and giveaways. There will be plenty for the kids to do prior to the Concert .with face painting, free ice cream and a Bounce about for jumping, During this event the area Police Department will be giving 300 bags of groceries away first come first serve. KUTLESS is a band that is very popular and they were surprised that we are not charging admission. K

New Life Church International is hosting a semi-formal gala to celebrate a decade of dedication and service at the City Club on Friday, September 23, 2016, from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Two hundred people are expected to attend including residents of the Lima community, leaders of the city, community organizations, and church friends and family. The guest speaker of the night will be author of Five Years to Life and assistant superintendent of the Northern California and Nevada District Assemblies of God, Dr. Sam Huddleston. The festivities will continue Sunday with a church service. Dr. Sam Huddleston will also be involved with other speaking activities while visiting.
