2009 General Election Plans for , "Your News Now". - 11/3/2009
A big day at the election polls for Ohio voters. “Your News Now” coverage begins at 6pm with Jeff Fitzgerald and Stephanie Davis.WLIO will begin its with live coverage from both Allen and Putnam County polls. Will Allen County repeal its sales tax? Will Lima City Schools renew their levy.Who will sit on the village councils of Putnam Counties?
After the polls close at 7:30 we hope to have results before 9pm.Those results will be post on both the lower third of your tv screen and on our web site.The election ticker has more than 100 races and issues from 6 counties.
On Fox News at 10 with Amyre Makupson we should have the name of Lima’s Mayor and hopefully some reaction of both the winner and the loser. The results for the 1st, 2nd and 5th Ward City Council should be clear as well as the results of the results on whether to keep a .5% for the next three years.
At 11pm join Erik Tyger and Stephanie Davis for final results of the 2009 General Election.By then we should have the results in Hardin County and whether the voters saved the OSU Extension Service, We should know if Findlay will be building two new middle schools as well as results from Van Wert, Logan and Mercer Counties.
By this time the statewide vote on Issue 1,2, and 3 should be taking shape and we should have a good feel on whether people of Ohio have accepted plans to build four casinos across the state or have voted against the gambling plan.
