One vote separates two men for the third spot on the Saint Marys city council. Unoffical results from yesterday's election have Patrick Mcgowan leading Michael Bernard for the final at large seat by one vote. State law mandates a recount if the difference between the vote totals is less than one half of one percent. But before the Auglaize County board of elections can determine if a recount is needed, it needs to make all sure all of the votes have been collected and canvass the results. Campbell says the offical ballot count will begin November 19th.
