Critical Mishap Leaves One Dead At Husky Plant - 11/5/2009

A work place accident during the Husky shutdown has left one man dead.

Husky Refinery plant manager Roy Warnock confirmed this afternoon that at approximately 11 am an employee of international tank, based in lima, was working on the inside of a newly constructed tank when he fell 50 feet from a man lift.

Shawnee Township Fire Department responded and transported the man to St. Rita's medical center where he was pronounced dead.

Warnock expressed the company’s condolences to the family.
