Graves Appears In Court. - 11/5/2009

The man accused of being involved in two local bank robberies in March of this year and a shooting in the parking lot of Buffalo Wild Wings in August appearred in court this afternoon for a supression hearing.

Defense attorney Greg Donahue asked to supress statements taken by his client, 19 year old Maurice Graves, concerning his involvement in the crimes.

Arguments lasted nearly two hours in Judge Richard Warren's courtroom.

Three witnesses were called to the stand to address Grave's statements, two FBI agents and a detective with the Lima police department.

Warren ruled to give both the defense and prosecution until november 13th to submit their written arguments to the court.

Also decided today, trials for graves will be split: one for the two bank robberies and the other for the shooting.
