COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - An investigative report obtained by The Associated Press says an inmate caught drinking alcohol last month at the governor's residence drank so heavily he couldn't remember later exactly what he drank. The incident is the latest setback for the inmate work program at the governor's residence.
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - State health insurance regulators say Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield overcharged customers and will refund $6 million to about 45,000 people. The company says it used rates that it thought were in accordance with new regulations but will work to resolve the issue.
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - A new poll by Quinnipiac (KWIN'-ih-pee-ak) University shows support for an Arizona-style immigration crackdown in Ohio. The survey says 48 percent of Ohio voters approve of Arizona's law. Twenty-eight percent say they disapprove. The margin of error is plus or minus three percentage points.
AKRON, Ohio (AP) - The city of Akron will mark July Fourth with a trimmed down, privately funded fireworks show. Budget problems forced the cancellation of the city-sponsored fireworks, but Akron General Medical Center says it will underwrite a smaller $10,000 fireworks display.
