Hello Lima!

I am your Fox news at 10 Anchor/Reporter. I started working in television news in Lima in February
of 2008 but signed on with Your News Now in June of 2009.

I was born in Detroit, Michigan and raised in nearby Southfield. I am a 2004 graduate of Howard University in Washington, D.C. I recieved my bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism. I then came back home to Detroit, Michigan and attended Wayne State University for my Master of Arts degree in Communications.

I was bitten by the news bug at birth. My mother, also named Amyre, was on television in Detroit for 25 years so I grew up watching her. She, too, was once the 10 o'clock anchor on Fox. While news was in my blood from a young age, so was my love for the Buckeye state. My father has been on legal staff at General Motors in Detroit for nearly 40 years but he was born and raised right here in Ohio. His family is in Dayton so we've taken countless trips from Southfield down I-75 to Dayton during my life and I'm happy to have made my home right in
between.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and my family. I have one older brother, Rudy. As I followed in my moms footsteps, he followed behind my dad and is a 2009 graduate of the
Wayne State University School of Law. We're a very close knit family.
